(THA) is a medical tourism initiative based on the integration of the main hospitals in the Tucson metropolitan area. THA is a non-profit organization formed in 2017, focused on serving international patients and visitors, mainly from Mexico and Latin America, who seek high-quality, innovative and efficient medical care in the renowned Tucson hospitals and Pima County, who have the best doctors, specialists and research institutions in the medical field and their renowned hospitals, such as Banner Health (UMC), Carondelet St. Joseph’s, Northwest Medical Center and Tucson Medical Center.
Tucson Health Association offers to hand the patient and their families to receive the best medical care and personalized service in their language. The convenient proximity of Tucson and Pima County with Mexico makes us the ideal destination for those who require hospital services, whether for extended stays or outpatient care.
The mission of the Tucson Health Association is to provide detailed information so that patients can make sound decisions about the treatments and medical specialties offered at the Tucson and Pima County hospitals.
Our Tucson Health Association Coordinator, Liz Silva, will make the patients and their families feel as if they were at home, thanks to the kind and warm treatment they will give them from their arrival to the city of Tucson and throughout the medical stay. It will also assist you with your medical appointments, transportation and accommodation and even entertainment activities for family members, all in your own language: Spanish.
